The wait in the sun was a bit tampered by the news that the Nice concert was cancelled, leading to worries for all the other upcoming shows. Especially coming after the two cancelled shows in Russia.
That tour was doomed in many ways, for the band and for many fans, starting in the middle of air companies strikes and Thalys perturbations for the German and Belgian shows. Tom sported a blue tape on his left forearm for most of the tour, to prevent some tendinitis or whatever else. The band nearly lost bits of the stage in a snow tempest while on the boat to Scandinavia. A storm that also caused the cancellation of a signing session in Helsinki.
One would think that someone cast an effective bad luck spell on that Humanoid Tour. Which wouldn't be surprising considering the hatred that the band still generates.
But as they've done since their very beginning, TH keeps doing their music no matter what. "Against it all", as the song Humanoid states... It may be one of the strengths of the band and why it keeps talking to the audience : they do have so many things and people to fight against, stage is what keeps them going - as Tom himself mentioned a few months later.
But it's already obvious in the way the band give it all despite those circumstances.
In Lille the setting wasn't so bad. The crowd, though not completely filling the venue, was still pretty packed and very enthusiastic, living up to the reputation of the people from the North of France to be very warm and lively.

TH Lille, Ich Brech Aus + speech from BillBack to the future with one of the few old songs played during this tour, Ich Brech Aus. And Bill's first speech of the show, apparently he finds Lille beautiful.
We did wonder if he had had any time to visit, but we probably won't have the answer unless TH TV starts again with a recap of the tour...Tokio Hotel, Hey You, Lille March 17th, 2010

... I'm afraid I'll probably record this one as many times as possible, first because it means something to me, second because it's after the band's Thank you speech and that's why I started to record it this time. And couldn't stop. Because it's Geisterfahrer.
