Master class (in French) : Narcolepticône

Le Forum des Images is a public institution of the city of Paris (France), aimed at educating people (especially kids) to various visual medias.

They hold thematic movie screenings cycles in their theater as well as master classes. In autumn 2023, the cycle "Acteurs, Actrices & Avatars" ("Actors, actresses & avatars") included the screenings of several of River's movies : Running on Empty, Explorers, I love you to death, My Own Private Idaho, Stand by me, and The Mosquito Coast.
In the conference, it was mentioned that they were not able to find a copy of Dogfight to screen it as well.

On October, 13th, 2023, Fabien Gaffez, artistic director of the Forum, gave a master class about River Phoenix, entitled "Narcolepticône" - a word play on Narcoleptic and Icon. It was both to open a month on the theme of "Growing up on the screen" and a way to remember River on the 30th anniversary of his death.

The master class was held before a screening of Running on Empty.
It's a well-documented, nearly 2 hours long study of River's body of work, illustrated by selected scenes.
It's all in French, though, and I haven't found a subtitle option on the video.
If you don't understand French, maybe you can try translating by using translation apps.
